How To Use

Use either the flat or ridged edge - the ridged edge will increase the firmness of the massage movement.

Hold the body Gua Sha tool at a 45 degree angle to the body, start at the feet and use moderately firm pressure in long upward strokes.

Work the Gua Sha tool up the lower leg and calf muscle before working over the knee - avoiding the back of the knee and areas where the skin is tight over the bone.

Continue to work upwards and outwards over the large quadricep muscle and up the outer thigh.

Repeat on the opposite leg.

For a deeper effect on the muscles, use the ridged edge and work the tool back and forth over the muscles.

Redness under the skin is normal and a sign the treatment is effective - bruising should not occur.
