Sunshine and Snow is an independent shop based in North Devon, set across three floors with a coffee bar on the ground floor.

Founded by India Snow in 2018, the shop was opened after a lifelong immersion in independent retail. India was raised within her family's business sourcing handmade furnishings from India, spending much of her childhood travelling for work and learning first hand about craftsmanship, textiles and small scale production.

We curate a selection of small, independent brands. We believe that choosing to shop with small independents in one of the most meaningful decisions you can make, being a direct way to support makers, protect skills and invest in a more thoughtful retail landscape that benefits communities throughout the world.

Across our three floors, you'll find handmade gifts, natural skincare, ceramics and homewares. You will also find our vintage clothing collection, Sunshine Vintage, sourced and handpicked in Italy. Alongside this we have a small range of sustainable slow fashion brands.

We are a small team, India leads the shop, shaping it's direction and curation. Faith oversees visual merchandising, in-store experience and vintage sourcing. Megan manages operations and product uploads behind the scenes. Morwenna and Mia are our amazing baristas in our coffee bar.

In spring, we will open Inba, a neighbourhood bar and restaurant. Inba will serve simple, Mediterranean inspired dishes in a relaxed, beautiful environment. Ingredients will be sourced from ethical suppliers prioritising organic and regenerative farming methods. Cocktails will be shaped by the seasons, and the wine list will focus on natural and organic producers.
